Letters A-N are noted at the bottom left hand corner of my demo reel. My demo reel can be viewed here. All shots used in my demo reel are examples of my work. My responsibilities within each shot are listed below.

A.  City State Entertainment: March on Oz - Mobile Game Trailer for iPad.

I led the development of this trailer. With a few exceptions, most animations within this trailer are in-game character animation cycles. The reuse of these animation cycles saved production time and truly represented the quality of the product and what players should expect to see and play within the game.

Responsible for the following:

    - Storyboarding

    - 3d layout and camera

    - All character animation

    - Rendering

    - Motion graphic animation

    - Compositing and editing

    - iOS Icon design

Software used: 3dsMax, CAT (Character Animation Toolset), Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop

*Not responsible for 2d asset creation, 3d modeling, rigging, lighting, or shading.

 

B.  City State Entertainment: Camelot Unchained - Teaser Trailer

Teaser trailers were developed In efforts to create viral internet awareness of our upcoming Kickstarter campaign.

Responsible for the following:

    - Motion graphic animation

Software used: Adobe After Effects, Element 3D, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

 

C.  NetSmartz Workshop (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children):  Branding ID

This motion graphic montage was created to reinforce NCMEC brands under its parent logo.         

Responsible for the following:

    - Motion graphic animation

    - Source character animations

Software used: Maya, MotionBuilder, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator

    

D.  City State Entertainment: Camelot Unchained - Frost Giant Walk/Run Cycles       

Responsible for the following:

    - Character animation cycles

E.  City State Entertainment: Camelot Unchained - Gargoyle Walk/Run Cycles

F.  City State Entertainment: March on Oz - “Scoutie” Animation Cycles

These are renders from the actual game-play animation clips used in March on Oz. There are 20 more examples of N.O.M.E.S like these in March on Oz that I was responsible for animating (50 characters in all)

G.  NetSmartz Workshop (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children):  KidSmartz: Sam - Character Test

This character was one of three used in production for a NCMEC rebrand called KidSmartz. This was animated to test out the model and rig for motion and personality.

    - Modeling

    - Rigging

    - Texturing

Software used: Maya, MotionBuilder, Mudbox

 

H.  NetSmartz Workshop (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children):  KidSmartz: Pilot

This pilot “No & Go!” was developed for KidSmartz, a newly acquired brand donated to NCMEC by Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad). Our team was tasked to develop new characters and situations that would best teach children to recognize danger and to report victimization to a trusted adult.

Responsible for the following:

    - Storyboarding

    - 3d Layout and camera

    - Assigned shots / tasks

    - Character animation

Software used: Maya, MotionBuilder, Mudbox

*Excluding the 2d sidewalk chalk animation, I animated from the project's 00:37 marker to the end frame.

NSTeens is a NCMEC brand sponsored by Sprint.

J.  NetSmartz Workshop (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children):  NSTeens: Attitude Overdrive

NSTeens is a NCMEC brand sponsored by Sprint.  

Responsible for the following:

    - Storyboarding

    - Assigned shots / tasks

    - Character animation

    - Compositing and editing

Software used: ToonBoom Harmony, Adobe After Effects

 

K.  NetSmartz Workshop (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children):  NetSmartz/NBA - PSA Pitch

L.  NetSmartz Workshop (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children):  NetSmartz: Router’s Birthday Surprise

This production is 30 minutes in length. It is a free resource to educate children (ages 5 - 10) on internet and personal safety.

M.  NetSmartz Workshop (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children):  NetSmartz / FOX 5 DC - Studio Interview

FOX 5 DC conducted an in-studio interview with Clicky the "NetSmartz Spokes-Robot".  Fox filmed the interview with NetSmartz voice talent off screen.  The animation team used the video plates and digitally inserted Clicky within a one week turnaround.

    - Character animation (from 00:00:00 to 00:01:53)
